Jackrobertevans
I'm a bit confused as to the relationship between watts and volume with valve and solid state amps... I'm looking at the 300w valve SVT, the 450w valve/ss SVT-3PRO and the mainly SS 1000w SVT-7PRO. Can anyone compare these directly about volume and headroom etc? I'm using a Fender 2x15 bassman cab with some nice and efficient Eminence speakers.
Painy
I'd say any one of them will make your teeth rattle in an average sized venue before they get anywhere near full volume!
danbowskill
I've played the pf500 (500w).... Ok volume I guess. Now own the all valve cl 300w.... Never had it up full ( I can't) stupidly loud, the pro 7 ( apparently 1000w) is absolutely no where near as loud.:-) Edited September 11, 2014 by danbowskill
