lowdowner Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I managed to wash my in-ear B&W C5 headphones in the washing machine. I then dried them for an hour (at high heat) in the tumble drier. I'm looking for other bassists' recommendations for a replacement pair. No in-ear this time (they keep falling out when I'm head banging!) but a small, light over-ear pair with great bass boost like the C5's. Any idea? Quote
stingraybassman Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 The B&W p3s are good. Little bass light maybe. I have the sennheiser momentums, awesome cans. Really open with enough kick for my taste. They have just announced the urbanite range which might be worth a look as well.. http://en-uk.sennheiser.com/urbanite The cheaper akg headphones get great reviews if your budget is a bit tighter Quote
Bolo Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Sennheiser hd25-1 on-ears. Give them a listen before you buy anything. Quote
PlungerModerno Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Audio Technica ATH-M50 Best headphones I've heard by quite a distance - But I'm only comparing them to a small sample of relatively budget headphones. Worth a listen for anybody thinking of spending about or over €100. Quote
ead Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I use these in the gym. They have a nice secure fit and are very good quality (as most Grado phones are). Not silly money either.
