sbrag
Received this lovely Tobias Growler today, arrived safely in the post from Spain from JuliusMonk of this parish (pleasure to deal with)! Lovely bass to replace my Stingray and I'd wanted a 4 string Tobias as I had to use my sons name as an excuse to let off a bit of GAS! Plays great, weighs nothing and sounds like a monster, just like my son (except the weight!). I just need to get my head around the switches. PlungerModerno
Cool bass - never seen a control setup quite like that, should be interesting. Also I'm not sure the young fella has the reach for a long scale bass.
Funky Dunky
Congrats, that's a sweet-looking bass! How's the tone?
sbrag
From the brief play ive had its a bit like an agressive stingray but half the weight and more versetile. Pu is coil tappable and has a boost switch as well as the eq. This one has had the bartolini quad coil replaced with a seymour duncan quarter pounder so may not sound like all growlers but its ace. juliusmonk
My pleasure Steve. Your son seems to already know how to play it! 😀 Enjoy the bass, thanks!
