AlexJMcGibbon
Price Drop: £950 Carvin SB5000, bought new in 2013 direct from Carvin. Hardly played out, mainly for home use. - Swamp ash body with flamed maple top (antique brown stain) - Rosewood neck with white mother of pearl block inlays. Clear gloss finish to back of the neck. - Rosewood knobs: Volume/Volume/Tone (pull up for passive), Bass and Treble - J99A Pickups. Active preamp powered by two 9-volt batteries. - Can be strung through bridge or through body. - Matching flamed Icon headstock - Black pickguard, but come with an additional replacement white pearloid pickguard + ashtray - Original Carvin hardcase, instructions etc - There is a small ding in the finish next to the input jack (photo pending) Sad to be selling this, but really looking to pick up a vintage Musicman of some sort. It is a truly great bass. The reviews across the net speak for themselves. Super low action, very easy to play. This model is also now discontinued. I also play it on a few of my youtube videos to give an idea of the tone. Further pictures available on request.
