Just curios if the mooer worth it or if it is good for is value or even better! Thanks for any help!

1976fenderhead
I can't tell the difference in sound between this and the Woolly Mammoth, at least from the videos. Have I just made a sacrilegious statement?
dudewheresmybass
I have one- I use it for 'time is running out'. The squeeze control is the key there. I quite enjoy it, but tbh I only really use a bfd for the limited times I use fuzz
fabini
I went to the store to try it... sold out!
ratman
In my experience Mooer are hit or miss. I had a Green Mile (TS clone) which was ok, but the Sweeper (Bassballs clone) and Yellow Comp are sh*te, with my set up at least. But for £40 odd quid they're worth a punt, you might find something you like.
Bigwan
Does it play nice with active basses and other pedals is the question - the mammoth doesn't by all accounts, but the mastotron, which is a similar circuit, has an input impedance control to handle actives. [/quote] I've read somewhere (Talkbass?) that it really needs a passive signal.

I was looking for a little bit of delay to put on when practicing so it didn't sound so dry and it works a treat. Tried it alongside the Way Huge Aqua Puss and didn't think the Aqua Puss warranted being twice the price for the purpose I wanted it for. dudewheresmybass
There was no difference for me active to passive with the fog
