mingsta
I'm planning on building a small pedal board with a Harley Benton 5 x isolated power supply. I've got a passive Fender ABY pedal (this only needs power if you want the LED indicators to show) and am also planning on having a TC Polytune tuner. To save on power outputs, I'm going to daisy chaining these two to a single 9v power cable, while the 3-4 effects pedals i'm running will have their own isolated power. In theory, given that one's passive (the ABY) and the other will be bypassed most of the time (tuner) could I expect to be impacted by the potential negative effects of daisychaining the power for this set up? I hear that this can sometimes cause hum/interference. Thanks for your help! Edited September 15, 2014 by mingsta
elephantgrey
The polytune has a power output which can be used to power the aby pedal, this shouldnt add a noticeable amount of noise to your system.
