Any thoughts what I should offer ?

£439 new so you can expect half to 2/3 of new price selling 2nd hand so £280 seems like a fairly reasonable price to me any more than that you might as well buy new with a manufacturers warranty ect.

I had one of these (nice basses!) and sold it last year for £300 +shipping.

Yer I had one too, couldn't get on with the narrow string spacing, much preferring the Yam TRB5 I replaced it with, flogged it on here for about 300 notes a coupla years back
