ash
Note how he states Fender 'style' - if that's a US Fender the world is flat and there are faeries at the bottom of my garden listening to Ted Nugent doing a talk about vegetarianism. inthedoghouse
Someone asked the question ... Q: So is this a fender deluxe or not? Couldn't tell as your description is a bit ominous. Also, with hardcase or without? A: my brother (whom I'm selling it for) cant be sure it's 100% genuine... although it has made in the USA on neck ,the serial number starts with the letter J... so he's a little cautious over its origins. ..hence advertised as "STYLE" (its a good copy if it's not genuine!)... it will be shipped in a hard case but not a guitar case...a genuine one is around £1700.. so whatever it makes it's a bargain... it's in good condition and has been used as his second (spare) guitar Edited September 17, 2014 by inthedoghouse
Groove Harder
Check out the shoddy bridge pickup routing and the squint block inlays, "good copy" my arse! 😆😁😃
Weststarx
I dont know whether its the picture or whether it is the guitar but the body looks too squashed to be a jazz to me.
HowieBass
This reminds me of that Harley Benton Jazz that was being sold (for more than they are new from Thomann) on eBay recently where the guy again claimed that he wasn't an expert on basses but said it was every bit as good as a Fender. One or two BCers contacted him to test his response and that guy was similarly defensive.
Subbeh
Why are these bull****ers always claiming that they're selling the bass on someone else's behalf?
Matt P
shouldn't the back be sunburst as well? looks solid black to me, and i'm fairly sure that the body wood isn't good enough that fender would stick a translucent finish over it, the grain is all obver the place. spacey
Agree, that knot in the grain would only make it suitable for a solid colour. Thats why sunburst are often the best wood.
