ash Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) This is a heavily modded blue flower finish Precision bass. The body is a MIJ Fender with passive Kent Armstrong PJ pickups and a rather chunky aftermarket bridge. At some point it had active pickups installed as can be seen by the battery pack at the back. All routing is neat and tidy and the pickups have Allparts chrome pickup surrounds. Since taking the pics I've ordered some matching knobs for it too. The neck has an amber tint with very thin lacquer and wide nut width giving it an authentic vintage look and feel. Frets are excellent and the neck is straight with an easy action and good quality Fender 70s type machine heads. It's an Allparts Licensed by Fender neck. The backplate has the Fender F stamped on it. There are plenty of dings to the body and you can see where the blue flower vinyl has split in places under the lacquer. The bass has a great sound and balance, it plays well and is reasonably light weighing in at around 9.8lbs. It comes with a modern but quite battered Ritter case which will protect it if posted. I'm not really looking for trades. I'm happy to post in the UK for £20. Edited January 4, 2015 by ash
