New Dirt Cheap Guitar Day

Yesterday I bought a Hohner Rockwood LX90 from a charity shop for the princely sum of £16. The finish is very deep and thick. Three piece solid body, Nicely aged-looking pickguard. According to teh webbernet, these were your cheapo stratolikes from the mid-nineties. The neck is smooth and silky and the pups sound pretty authentic - very bright and sparkly that soak up dirt like a Dyson.

Worth it.

The only thing I don't like is the shape of the stock.

Nice buy. I think it looks cool and we can't see the headstock, so no worries there either!
prince has been playing a Hohner Tele for years that sounds great...at least in his hands

I love a bargain me! Good score I had one of these in black when I first started playing. Good little guitars.
Why don't you just use a dremel or router and widen the neck pocket to fit Squier neck? if you want to re-install the original neck in the future you can just use a small balsa wood shim on each side.
