Bigwan Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Stunningly beautiful instrument. Wish I had the reddies...
three Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 outrageously lovely - with a strap pin at the 19th fret and lot of space behind the bridge, this wouldn't work for me, but great to admire
FunkyFresh Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Never have heard of Waghorn before... But will probably never forget it now either... Lovely. GLWTS!
sbrag Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Saw this on the Waghorn website and thought it was one of the nicest looking bases I've ever seen. Glwts
Happy Jack Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 So how heavy is "more lightweight then the original. (Though still fairly heavy)"?
ZenBasses Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I followed the build diary for this bad boy. A stunning looking instrument Not my cup of tea but I have buckets of appreciation for the level of detail. Glwts
chuck_stones Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Man, I just keep on coming back to this beauty.....just about every detail of this bass from the split block inlays and binding to the amazing tobacco burst over the flamed maple body is sublime.....even though it's not my choice shape of bass, this is one sexy muthafunker. I wish I had the readies to grab this! Best of luck with it dude.
Papabull Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 any relation to ben waghorn (awesome bristol tenor player)?
chrismuzz Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I remember the thread about this bass... Bloody gorgeous! Good luck with the sale, and your new home!
davedave Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 This thing is utterly monstrous! If only I had the funds. Glwts and have another bump.
