Now sorted - Hofner Senator or President bass dimensions

If anyone has a Senator or President could you please let me know the overall max depth from top of bridge to underside of body. Many thanks

I haven't got one, but I used to (in the early 60's!). There were 2 body depths - mine was the thin & it was about 1.75" - I have no idea about the deep body - mayby 3/3.5".

They tend to split in the longitude direction just above the heel, where it joins the body - as the end of the fretboard floats above the body. Check for quality of repair if it has.

Thanks Geoff. I'm just trying to find a case that will fit it for shipping (I've just bought one and the depth measurement given to me by the seller doesn't sound right so I'm trying to check) I know the body depth is 2". What I need is the overall depth including the height of the bridge on top. I guess an estimate of 4" would probably do it. If no one else chips in I'll go with that. Cheers
