Chownybass
Hi When you're filming using a camera and microphone, you can use a clapper board to make a noise and clear visual queue so you can sync up your sound and video. I'm recording video on Bass directly to Amplitube3 and Video separately. Any tips on sync'ing up the sound and video? I'm finding it very tricky. Thanks
topo morto
I used the clapper board technique - not with an actual clapper board, just by hitting a string or something in a way that would be obvious both visually and sonically. tedmanzie
what software are you using?
Well that's just it. I'm not using a microphone. Just sync'ing video and bass audio. I've tried plucking a string, but the low rate of attack makes it difficult. Also I'm not really practiced at the software
tedmanzie
i'm not clear what you're asking. seems like you need to make a clear visual + audio sync point.
Yes that exactly. Between that - and this video I just found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gVL-pMv1FM I think I'm good. I shall do two slaps and pops as my sync point. It seems the think I was missing was the button to turn on Audio Waveforms. Thanks though.
