Yamaha Attitude Bass £180 on Gumtree

I thought these were worth 2 grand plus!

I'd like to know how old it is. I can see the s/n on the back of the headstock but can't read it.

I suspect the owner doesn't know Billy Sheehan from Billy Bragg. But it looks like an Attitude of some sort, I have a defretted 5 not unlike it. I don't know Yamaha history but I expect that the Attitude Standard is just a leetle bit cheaper and lower spec than the Billy Sheehan Limited Edition

I wasnt aware they did a more affordable version so I presumed it was either a fake or something weird ahah

Yup, it's an Attitude Standard. Not one of the range of Billy's Ltd models, or even the Attitude Special, which was quite close.
This is still a good bass at a decent price, but these were just "run of the mill" models.

Superb basses, great necks and quality all the way through ! bargain at £180 a Fender beater all the way that's for sure !
