silverfoxnik Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Like a few other Basschatters, I've been tracking this thread for a while; firstly because I'm amazed at what a great price it is for such a quality bass, and even more so when you factor in the cost of that Sadowsky pre-amp in it!! I used to own a DJ5, so I know the quality of these Skyline Lakland's is good.. Anyway, I decided I was interested enough to PM chardbass about it and over the course of a few PMs going back and forth, I've discovered 1) what a thoroughly nice & upfront bloke Richard is, and 2) how good this bass sounds (as Richard put together some sound clips at my request) Ultimately, I've decided not to proceed with buying it because I think the 35" scale, 21 fret neck, might just be too much of a stretch for my (relatively) small hand span, but if that wasn't the case, this bass definitely would be heading to Silverfoxnik Towers right now! So, the least I can do now is encourage others who may be interested to check out the sound clips and also, give this cool looking, great sounding bass a free BUMP!
