Gustavo Dal Farra technique

Ok. I have been playing bass for a while now and can pickup most stuff by ear, learning new techniques takes a while, but usually get there. Then I see these videos:

Both videos have a similar pattern. I can't work it out. I can't see any tutorials or slowed down versions. I can easily make out the notes but can't fathom out the pattern he uses. It's some kind of slapped harmonic I think.

All I need is so kind of slow motion tutorial! I am desperate to learn this style. Any help or pointers appreciated!

Have you tried slowing down the youtube videos?

Yep, they are a bit out of sync, but still can't quite get it! I have nearly got the jist, but there are some extra ghost notes and stuff so it's still not quiet right!
