bassplayer88
Hi, Looking to upgrade the bag I use for my bass stand, 4ways, music stand, and folders of parts for my covers band. So far (5yrs) I've been using a Tesco 'bag for life' lol Anyway ive been looking at various builders power tools bags but just wondered if anyone had any good tips for a classier and hardcore solution. KingBollock
I'd have a look in your local Army surplus store. Anything from waterproof duffel bags to metal cases you could park a lorry on.

chris_b
I know a couple of guys using DeWalt canvas tool bags, from B&Q.
Lozz196
I use a Wilkinsons tool-bag. Black with orange trim, which matches my gig-bag and covers for my Markbass amps, which conversely are black and yellow - am trying to escape the OCD affliction. twentyhertz
I use North Face messenger bags for my general carting about of day to day crap... maybe not quite big enough for what you're after, but they're waterproof and tough, which is nice. I use them primarily for photography stuff like cameras, flashes, batteries etc. because I hate carrying anything that looks like a "camera bag". Very handy for my work (TV) where I'm often stuck out in wet, muddy fields with rolls of tape, batteries, headphones, leatherman, scripts, rig sheets etc. etc. Edited October 16, 2014 by twentyhertz
Truckstop
+1 anything that you can sling over your shoulder wins in my book. I have a TC Electronic amp bag and it's ideal for my PF350 and assorted cables and folders etc Truckstop
Bassmonkey
I use the Taylor Musicians bag. Is ace. Loads of pockets, compartments. Was a bit pricey but is exactly what I need and like. Keeps everything organised and is configurable to create spaces to suit your needs.
Jack
I've got a nice Accucase bag from Thomann. Shoulder strap, carrying handles, tought and waterproof. Mine's a DJ type bag so there are a ton of pockets and I keep my micro head in the section meant for a laptop. I only have that bag and my basses and cabs so it's got my head, cables, picks, ear plugs, spare tuner, guitar stand, strap, wireless stuff, everything. A quick google says mine is discontinued, but there will be a replacement.

spongebob
I can't find a decent priced item either to carry my stuff in! You'd think a brand like Fender would have jumped on something like this. Please keep the ideas coming, I've looked everywhere!

rmorris
Just took a look at Accucase bags on Thomann. Look pretty good and affordable. (I would have included the original post but the Quote feature not working from this PC. Some setting or other I guess)
