Sometimes in these cases I send an email in all innocence asking if this is the same model as (gives Thomann link) or a different one. I never get an answer. Except from that strange person selling Harley Benton basses on ebay without showing the headstocks, where I received a stream of consciousness reply that didn't mean anything.

I've kinda stopped pointing these out as I got flamed, along the lines of buyers choice whether to buy or not.
That was about 7/8 months ago, regarding a second hand active Mex P Special out in an EBay shop at £825, when new, warranted ones could be bought for £730.
Strangely enough that bass is still for sale

FEEBay , the charges are that high now, that this will only happen more and more.

One guy was selling galaxy tab 3 that were £85 new for £99 buy it now and knocking them out by the dozen.
