Muzz Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) Now, I'm very happy with my Compact at the moment (superlight and does what I need very well), and before that I loved the Super12 I had (even more of everything, but just too much for what I needed), but GAS is a bitch, and I've been very keen to try out a Super Compact, but not stonked enough to actually buy one on the returns basis. Imagine my delight to see that Drew at the Manchester Bass Lounge (www.manchesterbasslounge.com) is going to be stocking Barefaced cabs...fantastic. He's only got a Super Midget in at the moment (tho I might even get over to try it out anyway), but there's a Big Twin on the way, and more as he can get Alex to ship them. Anyway, heads-up to anyone up this end of the country who's interested in Barefaced cabs...this could get expensive... Edited September 26, 2014 by Muzz Quote
discreet Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Wow, it's good for my wallet that I'm dahn sarf, innit? Quote
subrob Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 A visit seems increasingly likely. I'm really interested in the BF gear, I'd be holding out for an accessible bass bash but this could do the trick too. Now does anyone feel like treating me. ..? Quote
paul_5 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I was chatting to Drew too about these too. Frankly, I fear for the safety of my wallet, I played through one last year at an audition and it was IMMENSE!!!! Quote

I totally love the Midget. The stack is insane. Quote
only4 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I was listening to Drews Super Midget at Thursdays Sandberg bass clinic and it sounded great! First Barefaced cab I've ever heard, could be dangerous... Quote

Wouldn't count on it I was in the StompBox (EffectivePowerSupplies) shop, in Northwood Hills yesterday and they too have started stocking Barefaced. They had a BigBaby cab on the floor. http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/barefaced-bass-cabs-325-c.asp Quote
Chienmortbb Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 So I am still safe in Darzet then ! Quote
discreet Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Mind you, BF HQ is on the south coast... I've managed to avoid it thus far, though... Quote
Skol303 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Yup! I've heard that he's the first and currently only dealer for Barefaced, which is quite a coup. Very nice chap to deal with, too. Quote

Pow_22 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) Aye, bass lounge is a fantastic place. Not a fan of barefaced at all but the service at MBL is always second to none Edited October 1, 2014 by Pow_22 Quote
