I have one. It's a tone monster. I swapped the neck because I wanted a block and bound, has a Hipshot bridge and tuners, and I made a new PG, but the sound in the clip below is the Squier. The active circuitry is very good indeed.

Thanks man! It gets gigged regularly too. It's never let me down. But it did need that new bridge and tuners.

Ordered! Thanks for info xilddx. I was thinking that it would look ace with a matching headstock and you'd done just that! Wonder if i can find the neck from the standard VM jag bass with the block inlays in the neck - that would look tasty!

I'm a very, very luck boy and its a very, very early christmas present from my gf!
