MrBen
Same question - think I've just found the reason the op was asking!
James Nada
Same question - think I've just found the reason the op was asking!
I'd like to ask the sane question too. And probably for the same reason. Seems like at that price is worth a punt. xilddx
I have one. It's a tone monster. I swapped the neck because I wanted a block and bound, has a Hipshot bridge and tuners, and I made a new PG, but the sound in the clip below is the Squier. The active circuitry is very good indeed. Sound can be heard here http://basschat.co.uk/topic/221177-a-first-go-on-the-new-zulu-bass/

It gets gigged regularly too. It's never let me down. But it did need that new bridge and tuners.

MrBen
Ordered! Thanks for info xilddx. I was thinking that it would look ace with a matching headstock and you'd done just that! Wonder if i can find the neck from the standard VM jag bass with the block inlays in the neck - that would look tasty! I'm a very, very luck boy and its a very, very early christmas present from my gf! Just need something to play it though now (hence - http://basschat.co.u...ice-amp-or-app/) Edited October 9, 2014 by MrBen
