Excuse my over posting but a friend posted this to me earlier. i wouldn't post it if i thought it was sh*t. for me a favourite band. they bridge a gap of funk and rock so well. its blend of magnificence.

I really like a lot of their stuff. The bass is always doing something interesting and usually with a really creamy tone.

I think this is my absolute favourite, the bass line kind of pulsates along.

First heard them on a 70s compilation. Their version of Gimme Shelter leaves the Stones version in it's wake (IMHO). Fantastic bass, vocals and brilliant false finish.

I love this band!! First song I ever heard was 'Nothing Is The Same' and it was by sheer luck - I grabbed a set of headphones on a listening post in Tower Records in Glasgow about 15 years ago and it was the first track on a compilation CD. I was hooked instantly. I immediately ordered the GFR album the track was from so I could hear it, and more of their music. The bass riff on 'Aimless Lady' is a corker. Hugely underrated band IMO.

Inside Looking Out has the most amazing OD/Fuzz tone I've ever heard. Did it with my old band but could never get the tone bang on.
