Hello guys,

I wonder if you can help me.

While I save up to buy the Ampeg Cab I am after, would it be possible to run a Ampeg PF800 Head through one of my Logic x150p Bass bins?

I can't think of a reason why not but I just wanted to check, (I don't want to ruin either my head or my bass bin)

What do you lot think ?

I assume that by bass bins you mean subwoofers?

If so, then yes it would be fine, but it'll more than likely not be a usable sound. No mid range or top end to speak of, I'd imagine. Most subs stop being useful at a few hundred Hz, most bass players are producing stuff that's 3-5KHz or more.

Try it though, you won't hurt anything as long as you don't go below 4 ohms total load.
