BMBR Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I have a Fender Jazz Special (Japanese 1984-87) - think it's the same as the original 'Duff'. The tone pot doesn't work - also I'm not sure if it is original. Currently it has a centre detent pot and looks like it is wired to the 3 way pup selector switch - so my assumption is it is somehow to blend between the 2 pups . . . bit of a guess as it doesn't do anything when turned. It also has 2 volume pots (one per pup) which both work fine. Does anyone know what the original wiring for the tone pot is for one of these please ? I'd like to repair it ready for selling. Cheers, Mark. Quote
