Recently saw a poll on TB and couldn't find a similar thread here so thought I'd start one. I've never started a thread with a poll in it before so thougnt I'd try that out too. Its quite interesting to see the average number of basses owned, some of those guys on TB have 60 odd basses

I'll get the ball rolling, I currently have three with two more incoming;

Fender P
Fender J
Spector sixer
Peterbuilt fretless (incoming)
Wal sixer (incoming)

Two for me - a W&T 5 and a '78P. I've never had the desire for a fretless or a sixer, so these two do me fine.
Of course, if I won the lottery I'd have a Gretsch Billy Bo, a Ritter R8 5 and a Status Kingbass 5 just for fun :-D

Just the two I,m afraid. A 2011 US Standard P Bass In Olympic White and a Sunburst Bitsa thing I put together from bits and peices (In my avatar pic)

Good stuff!
2 Precisions for me.

I have four. The first bass I owned, an acoustic 4 string, is bursting with sentimental value and is somewhat magical, so I'm keeping it.
Then a fretted 6 and a fretless 4.
...but then I just made a short scale fretless 4 a couple of weeks ago. I want to make more guitars, but I don't actually need (or have space for) any more, so I don't really know what to do.

I thought this must have been done before.

Same thread from before my time on BC.

Do you know, I'd say from a sound perspective it's the '13 model but from a playability perspective my '64 wins hands down. It's so smooth from the years of heavy use.

See my sig! I also have an old Dynelectron Longhorn in need of TLC and refurbishment and, recently added (and really deserving of it's own thread), a rather magnificent Fernandes FAB 180.
Again, they all do very different things - aside from the two Yamahas which do exactly the same thing.

G&L Tribute L2000
Squier Affinity Precision (my first bass, sticker covered and almost never used)
