JonesTheCat
Just the one, a knackered Aria (£42, with amp) which came to me with a visually bent neck, cracked pickup plastic and missing paint. Currently deciding on a replacement, but I'll be keeping the Aria.
snorkie635
Having looked across my living room and checked with this thread, I now know what these things with strings and twirly-bits at the end of their necks are! All I know is that there used to be not nearly enough and four more additions means absolutely no change in status. I need a doctor, or a vet to put me out of your misery. josie
Four with a fifth in disputed possession: GMR Bassforce 5 (London c. 2010) Fender Jazz Plus 5 (USA 1992) Encore P clone Vintage 4 acoustic The fifth is a Fender Jazz Aerodyne (Japan 1992) which I bought in Nashville on my last visit to my son, which I he claims was for him, and I claim was so I had a good bass to play when I'm there. This is about to be put to the test, as I'm going over tomorrow and fully intend to bring it back with me. I may have to ransom it by getting him a good Fender P

anzoid
Posted in this thread 18 months ago and had fours basses. Posting today, still have four basses but not the same four... Current batch: Status Graphite Streamline (5-string) MTD Kingston Artist (5-string) MTD KZ5 (5-string) Hohner B2ADB (4-string, but not modified, got it in a trade + cash for my NS Design Radius WAV4) If I were to guess, in another 18 months the only one that will be around is the Status. The MTDs need to be sold and the Hohner might stick around to noodle on at home unless I decide to totally give up on 4-strings.

FinnDave
I've decided my perfect number of basses is four, two of each type (Jazz & Precision). I currently have five and have just bought another. My plan is not going too well.

And yes, it cost me a US Standard P. Well worth it - when I gigged the Aerodyne in Nashville last week, every bass player in the house wanted to get their hands on her.
