Murph_Orpheus Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Is it worth buying a power conditioner for a preamp that acts as your power amp too? Or is it something thats used mainly just for power amps alone? Quote
alexclaber Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Bad idea generally. Very few 'power conditioners' can handle the current demands from high power amps. Any well designed gear does not need 'power conditioning'. A surge-protected power strip has the useful functions at far less cost and without wasting a rack space. Alex Quote
