Thanks for your help but it doesn't work. I tried that approach last night, but it only allows me to copy one of Dood's listings into my playlist. Spookily it even extracted 4 selections from my Amazon Music list and put them into a playlist on Spotify which I didn't know I had.

Cheers,   Balcro

I was listening to BIMM's own Spotify list for bass which has some nice tunes on it and thought this one could do with a bump!

This is a collaborative list, so BassChatters can add their own favourite bass lines too!

Ah this will keep me going for a while at work!

Also, quite surprising The Topics version of Louie Louie isn't on there. Listen from 2:31 onwards.  I need to learn this as my ultimate "wow, he can really play" tune

I thought I might bump this one as it's due for a refresh! What you spinning these days folks? Wanna add some cool bass to the shared playlist?

Following on from @Tim Chapple's superb Spotify Playlist of Basschatter's work, I thought I'd remind us all that there's this collaborative list floating about (I'll add it back to my signature soon) for a great bass line general resource!

I'm thinking about deleting this playlust as I have just noticed (finally) that it has been utterly overrun with thousands (over 10,000 actually) of tracks that are not even remotely relevant to the point of the playlist. "ForYou" account has added the tracks making it nigh on impossible to randomise what we started with. Cheers for that...

That's a real shame.  Especially as I've only just discovered the playlist's existence!

Just out of curiosity I tried removing some of those songs added by that "ForYou" account. They went away, then returned within a few seconds. Seems pretty suspicious.

Oh wow, that's interesting! So, Spotify is auto-populating people's playlists? Thats sneaky!

I've tried to block the ForYou account and deleted all of their tracks over and over, but they all keep coming back straight away.

Must be a bot account. I thought perhaps I didnt have permission to delete from the playlist.

It looks like playlists can set up in such a way that only invited collaborators can contribute. Seems like this function was added, in part, in response to this type of playlist spamming problem.

@everyone

I think I have fixed the problem! If you click on 'Accounts'that takes you to your account online, there is a menu for Manage Apps under Security and Privacy. I had a few apps connected to my Spotify account. I knew what the all were. I have deleted all of them and I have subsequently been able (so far) to remove everything by this unknown account. One application happened to be Universal Music.. so it seems they can add tracks to your profile and have access to your playlists.

I'm still tempted to ditch Spotify altogether.
