stuckinthepod
I've been watching the documentary and the following videos on Bbc4 tonight. Firstly, how have I missed out on Kate Bush all my life, I was aware of her major songs but never really paid attention. For shame! Earlier in my life, Wrong time, different interests, I guess. Bloody hell, these are some seriously amazing songs, voice, arrangements.... Secondly, her bass player on the first album I think it was Bruce Lynch, fantastic work supporting incredibly complex vocal lines and melody on wuthering heights and moving. Anyone know anything about him, wiki is sparse.

darkandrew
Weirdly, I've had a sort of Kate Bush epiphany in reverse; I'd never bought any of her music but always respected it from a distance but having seen the same footage as you on BBC I'm actually quite underwhelmed. Just goes to show that one man's vinegar is another man's vintage wine. Edited October 4, 2014 by darkandrew
