Making a wall hanger.

Has anyone made their own wall hanger of a diagonal or horizontal type with success?

I'd like to do it with maybe some angle brackets, but better to see what you chaps say or have any pic's of thanks.

I have one in my studio made with a pressed metal tool hanger with a bit of sticky foam wrapped around the arms to prevent damage.

These on an Ebay shop, cheap as chips as they say. Used a load in our prcatise room, very secure.

But as I read it the OP is looking to mount it with the instrument against the wall horizontally or diagonally to display it ?
