I'm possibly one of the first to benefit from Davie's upcoming Great Peavey Sell Off with a beautifully beaten up and lusciously lumbar-friendly Fury I that is now residing a good deal further south.

Thanks for a great deal, sir!

What a smashing bloke Davie is. I got a real sense of genuine warmth throughout our wee transaction. As he began packing he found (as I'm sure many of us have) some overlooked, microscopic flaws in the paint work, which he instantly drew to my attention offering me an 'out' if I wanted it.

Oh and when the bass arrived it was packed to be bulletproof, a man after my own heart with the bubblewrap and boxes. In fact the Lidl's veg boxes were so cleverly used that I shall be adopting the same method for all my future bass deliveries.

A wonderful Basschatter, a patient, honest and friendly man whom I have not the slightest hesitation in recommending to you all.

Here you go Dave 👍

I bought a Peavey T40 from Davie and I could not be more pleased with it. Coms very good and the bass arrived well packed.

A painless transaction and I am very happy to recommend

Davie bought a Fender String Retainer from me. Good comms, swift payment, and advised once it was received, something which I always appreciate.

Yet another fabulous transaction with Davie.  I put out a call for a Retrivibe Renegade in the hope of cobbling together a lightweight Faker.  Not only did he answer my plea but also raided his spare parts draw and has pretty much set me up for the modding.  And all at a price that was mind bogglingly cheap.  Super friendly, helpful guy. So I would say if you are contemplating a deal with Davie BITE HIS ARM OFF.  An absolute pleasure to do business with, one of Basschat's finest. :)

Super Basschatter Davie is a top man to deal with. Good communication with absolutely no problems and the bass I purchased (a Tune TWB-4Z) was extremely well packed. Two thumbs up 👍😊👍

Davie answered my wanted ad for a Behringer P1.  Turns out he had one lurking in a drawer.

All agreed very quickly and it arrived in a couple of days.

What a star.

What a lovely example of how this place can be.  I noised Davie up for his thoughts about a pickup he was talking about in a thread a few years ago, and instead he offered to send me the pickup to check out for myself!  It arrived, I put it in the bass, gave it a blast, removed it and sent it back to him.  Told me way more than words could have.  It wasn't what I was looking for, or expecting in the end, so not only is Davie a gentleman and a scholar, he saved me £140 of FAAFO money.

Community at its best.  Thanks, Davie!

Gotta say Davie is a brilliant an fantastic bloke. Top notch fella. Not only have I learned a hell of a lot from him about basses and builds in other forums, but have dealt with him on buying and selling. I ordered a Roswell Filtertron from DE but got confused and ordered 2 by mistake. They wouldn't let me cancel the other one, but in steps Davie who bought it straight from me. We agreed a price and I insisted he didn't pay until it came through his door. The cash was in my bank before I posted it FFS! Recently I wanted a template to cut the headstock on my PB to the old tele style, a couple of days later it arrived as an MDF template, I was expecting a bit of paper! I asked him how much he wanted and he told me to put some money into a local charity box. I donated a fiver to breast cancer as his P&P was £1.40 and his time and material must've come to £3 so, yeah he's a good bloke and someone you can trust in any transaction. He don't suffer fools gladly, i.e. folks that just talk **** about their new £2000 guitar but are just badge whores, but will spend any amount of his time, vast experience and knowledge coaxing us newbies not to go down the rabbit hole of spending stupid money for something that won't really matter to how your guitar sounds. Brilliant bloke, glad to know him and thank god for him he lives such a long way from me, otherwise I'd be round his house every day!!! 😁
