Does anyone know how to "sweat out" a dink in a lacquered body of a bass? Bought it new recently but didn't see the dink in the shop. A bit gutted so, if you have any solutions to solve this, I would be grateful. Cheers :)

I know it depends on the finish (nitro or poly) as well as the extent of the damage (to the wood or just dented paint...).

A guitar restorer or finisher/refinisher might be the best to ask for advice. Hopefully one will take a look at the specimen and let you know how to make it better (or make it better for you B)).
