Clarky
During the course of having my bass repaired by my luthier last week, he put on a brand new set of the recently-released white nylon La Bella 7710 strings, which were co-designed by Ron Carter. In a fit of enthusiasm I decided to keep them on the bass and bought them from him for a more-than-fair £80 (they are not available yet in Europe, as far as I can see, but retail at $148 in the US - which would mean an imported cost of c£120-odd) http://www.gollihurm...SS_STRINGS.html. While they have a wonderful soft feel under the fingers, having had them on my bass a few days I have decided they are slightly too bright for me (I prefer 'old school' 1950s tone) and have gone back to my old faithfuls (Velvet Blues). Thus, virtually unused and not-yet-available in UK and I will pass on at the same great price - £80 including post La Bella product page: http://www.labella.com/products/7710t/ Edited October 9, 2014 by Clarky
