govons
Hi everybody, nowadays I am 100% under hard GAS for Ibanez Musician. I don't know why but...it happens. Do somebody make me informed about differences between MC900 and MC924. I have more feeling with simplicity style of MC900 but even the other one looks good to me. markorbit
MC900 is the one Sting used with the front-facing (and more prone to damage) jack socket. I think the MC924 extended the frets from 22? to 24. Later revisions of the body shape had a larger contour around the edges and various types of pickups were used. There is a webpage with a lot of MC history but I can't locate it right now. Edited October 9, 2014 by markorbit
LeftyJ
I did a review on my 924's once, with some background info on the series: http://basschat.co.u...musician-mc924/ If you're looking for simplicity, I would say the MC900 doesn't really differ from the MC924. It's just an older version with 2 frets less. I'd say you're really looking for an MC800 or MC824, with passive electronics and simple controls but all the great features and construction of the active models Edited October 9, 2014 by LeftyJ
govons
Thank you for the reply. Actually choice to have active and passive is nice. If you say that 800 series can be better i will check. is it in your opinion good bass for different kind of music or just focused in a small range?
