mickcope
Just got myself a Yamaha slb100. I notice some people add a Fishman as well to the bass. What does it add in terms of sound enhamment Ta Mick
Mr Bassman
If you've got the jazz bridge it's dead easy to fit a full circle and will be a big improvement on the Yamaha pup. If yours is the earlier chunkier bridge with wooden adjusters you'll have to modify the bridge or replace it. I've experimented with loads of pups & strings on the Yammys and settled on a Shadow SH950 Dave Swift has gone back to using Yamaha Silent basses, he used full circles a few years ago but I think he now uses Wilsons
Sumbabba
Really happy with my Full Circle, it transformed the sound of my SLB200. I'd like to try the Wilson or the Shadow, are they significantly better than the FC?
Mr Bassman
I had better results with a Full Circle on a SLB200 rather than on the SLB100
