FFS, this is the same as mine-I'd have this off you like a shot if I had the readies, but I don't. Not much help I know, but I love mine to bits and would be perfectly happy to have another the same.

Ooooh sorry - it's a P S1, not a J S1. I'm sure they're just as nice - but not tried one, makes me think of my Thunder 1A which has a series parallel switch - thins the sound out for a jazzier feel - works well on the Westone - not tried a Precision though.

The S1 does just that;it thins out the sound.We have all suffered boomy bottoms I'm sure!! This solves it.

Bought one of these off 'Murph last year - twin of this apart from RW neck. Best £500 I've ever spent on a bass.

S1 - what's the beef? Just leave it switched OUT.
