Anyone got a Darkglass B7K? - user thoughts?

I've reviewed both the B3k and Vintage in Guitar Interactive Magazine. I've been meaning to get a list of links together for our review section but haven't got round to it yet. I suspect you'll be able to google it though to listen to the pedals. The B7k sounds most like the B3k with the extra bells and whistles on.

Its an excellent preamp. I use a B7K and a VMT Deluxe. The B7K is the more aggressive sibling, with a metallic heavy drive sound, whereas the VMT sounds like a cranked valve amp, warm vintage tones by nature but can easily be made aggressive with the EQ. Both superb pedals, which one will suit you depends on what tone you are looking for?

Cheers man, I'll have a look for it. Was gonna get one anyway but hoping I can take it on work gigs where there's no amp so I don't have t go and buy something different for that haha.

It's now my pedal of choice. Quite expensive but I don't regret it one little bit, sounds fantastic DI'ed and have used it in the studio myself. Can be very nasty and grindy which I love, but it can also be crisp and clean and take the wool off of your bass tone. took the wool out of an Ampeg SVT Cl with a 410- some letters I can't remember the name of (the ported one) which was extremely wooly at the best of times. Works great as a pedal in front of my own valve amp and in the studio, Highly recommend if you have the budget.
