Precision Bass Pickguard Colour Options

Hello all!

Some of you may remember I invested in a [b][color=#EE82EE]PINK [/color][/b]pickguard for my black precision bass not so long back which you all confirmed looked absolutely disgusting (thanks guys).

I dont really like the plain white on a black bass so was wondering what colour pickguards some of you guys use or have changed to that looks good.

Black, tort, or gold adonised.

It will get attention and possibly bring you fame and fortune as it is! I put a white shell guard on one bass and a black shell pickguard on a light blue bass.Chrome and aluminium pickguards are costly but they look good.Your bass is easy to see on a dark stage.

I think that tortoise shell looks awesome on black.

Agree, tort on black with either rosewood or maple is great.

I saw someone selling tooled leather ones on eBay, they were fancy. Or how about mint, or is that too similar to white?

It was the Bass Doc, although it's since been replaced with a cheaper printed tort scratchplate rather than celluloid.
