Rough valuation opinions - MIA Jazz

Hi,

I've been offered a MIA Jazz bass in PX for a Double Bass. I'd appreciate some guidance with regard to it's market value please:

Fender Jazz made in Corona California , deluxe flame maple , serial No ..DZ4****** Made in 2004 ..all fittings are gold plated .. couple of small dinks on back slight wear mark on front , otherwise good condition all round

I have no pictures of the bass - but plan to look at it over the next few days.

Any thoughts much appreciated

I had a later version of the deluxe - was the active version, don`t know if your one is/will be - and that was around the £800 mark.

Due to the gold hardware I'm guessing yours is the version without the pickguard? Nice looking and good basses, quite different to the usual Deluxe basses. They didn't sell as quickly back then, but those who liked them loved them. Up to a grand I reckon, Lozz's £800 is realistic for a p/x and keeps you nice and safe.
