TorVic Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) *Sold* One of the best basses I have owned - the asymmetric neck is simply the best that I have played. However, in the couple of years that I have had it (since I bought it here), I have played it only once or twice - it has remained in a hard-case the rest of the time. The condition is like-new. I need to raise some money to compensate for some recent purchases and hence I am letting this go. The only blemish is a small ding on the fretboard above the 11th fret near the D-string (appears as a dot in the first photo shown below). Specification:

Swamp Ash body
Oil lubricated steel wool satin lacquer finish.
7 piece Wenge/Maple asymmetric neck
Pao Ferro finger board with no radius
ACG SB in bridge and RFB in neck ACG EQ01 pre-amp.
Hipshot Type A 17mm spacing (scale length: 34")
Schaller strap locks.
Weight: 4.4kg / 9.7lb
ACG page: http://www.acguitars...assic-6-string/ Edited September 12, 2016 by TorVic
Kev Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Having recently picked up an ACG Recurve, I can say that they are superb instruments and this will be no exception. The neck is wonderful
TorVic Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 Thanks, the asymmetric neck is my favourite design feature on this bass.
flippyfloop Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Did you find out the weight ? Beautiful bass at an amazing price.
TorVic Posted June 26, 2016 Author Posted June 26, 2016 Thanks MB1. I am not playing 6-strings too often and hence am letting this go. I will update the weight in the next couple of days.
TorVic Posted June 29, 2016 Author Posted June 29, 2016 The weight is updated in the post: 4.4kg / 9.7lb.
giblett123 Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 This one used to be mine (a good few years back) and I had it from new, lovely bass and well worth a punt.
TorVic Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) Thanks for the endorsement. NickD Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Can the fretboard ding be felt while playing... while sliding etc?
TorVic Posted August 6, 2016 Author Posted August 6, 2016 Not at all. It is just above the 11th fret between the D&G strings (visible on the first photo above)
TorVic Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Final price drop (745GBP including shipping to mainland UK) bump. will hold on to it if it doesn't sell at this price.
Brother Jones Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Extraordinarily good price for a bass as good as this. GLWTS.
TorVic Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) Thanks @Brother Jones Edited August 27, 2016 by TorVic
