Owen
I have just picked up a bass body and cannot recognise what the original pickups were in it. Any ideas? 4 string. Ghost_Bass
Can you post a pic of the entire body. Maybe finding out the model of that body may shed some light on the pickups that were installed on it. Also mesure the cavity, almost every pickup manufacturer has it's dimentions specced on their sites. As a first blind shot i would say that Bartolinis might fill those holes. The pic is too close for me to judge if either "regular" humbucker or MM-style...
Graham
I'd have a guess at EMG DCs, they look too wide for Barts, all guesswork though.
3below
I would name them Verity, However as mentioned earlier your best bet is measure the cavities and then see what pickups are available in that size.
Owen
http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolini-bb-pickups.htm Obscure Barts. Rats, not the kind of thing which crops up on the for sale forums often.
3below
On the plus side, because they are 'small' cavities, routing for a larger soapbar, MM, or whatever is viable.
MoonBassAlpha
Someone must make a generic soapbar that is similar.
Dad3353
Would mini-humbuckers go in, maybe, as per T-Bird..?
Owen
By now I have decided to route it out like this [attachment=174504:Damian-Erskine-300x201.jpg] so I can safely ignore what is there. Exciting times
