Sold - Nordstrand big splits EMG40 size 4 string £75

Up for sale are some 4 string Nordstrand big splits

EMG40 size :- Length- 102mm , Width-38 mm , 19mm s/s
In very good condition , were fitted on my bass for about a year so have been used
Looking for £75 posted to a uk address

Damn that's a great price for some incredible pickups! I'm actually surprised and a little upset that I don't have any basses that take pickups this size!

I did the same thing and tried to think of something these would fit that I own! I had a 5 string set a few years ago and they were great sounding pups.

I was about to PM you and have these till I realised that the 102mm EMG40 is 5 string spacing; the 35 is 4 string and 89mm.

Yes , but if a strange one
They are in 5 string size , but are cut for a four string with 19mm string spacing
They fit my manson perfectly

You can clearly see they have pole-pieces for a 4 string but the casing size is the EMG 5 string size. Had they been a straight drop in I'd have had them.

True , my 4 string must have been made when there was an abundance of emg40s & not emg35s :-)
