I'm not a fan of musicman but when I got this bass I was amazed how powerfull it is! Just nice bird's eye maple and yellowed with age [/quote] It's not the roasted new necks but the grain is more darker than usual which couple of sterlings in that year got that neck it has more roasted look than normal Birdseye maple necks
