andytoad Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) What's your thoughts on this? Over priced? A good year? Could I get my money back if it wasn't for me? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121466803532 Edited October 24, 2014 by andytoad Quote
Grangur Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 The sunburst finish is probably unusual. If that's your thing you might be happy to pay a premium for that, but I think the price is high whan you add the postage. To get a feel for the price of a Streamer, take a search for "Streamer" on the site for the Bass Gallery http://www.thebassgallery.com/searchResultsFormData1.cfm IMHO the one on Ebay isn't a bargain Quote
Grangur Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 You might like to take a look at this one: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/247378-fs-warwick-streamer-bolt-on-93-emg-pj-emg-2-band/page__fromsearch__1 OK visually it's very different, but it's a guide. Quote
LukeFRC Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 looks ok as a bass- it's not cheap mind so you might loose something if you sold it on. Check out warwick.de forum - you tend to get a large range of warwicks on there for ok prices. Quote
Annoying Twit Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I must admit that I'm thoroughly confused by Warwick Streamer models and prices. The passive double humbucker models like the Streamer standard often go for very low prices for a German made instrument. It seems when there is a small variation in spec, the prices go up by multiples. I wouldn't want to be in the position of having to work out how much to pay for one. At least with a Corvette there are plenty of examples of sold items on ebay to establish a market price (which seems reasonable for what you get). Quote
