joeystrange Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I ordered two sets of strings at around 3pm yesterday. As soon as the order had gone through I realised that my account still had my old address on it. I called them up to see if I could change it but as I'd literally just placed the order it hasn't arrived on their system yet so the guy took down my address and said he'd change it when it came through. 10:30 the next morning and they're here! That's how you get repeat customers. Quote
Heathy Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Absolutely. For me their customer service has always been excellent. Quote
Paultrader Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Me too - I ordered two sets of string from them mid-afternoon on Wednesday and they arrived on Thursday morning post free. That's good service in my book. Quote
Paul S Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 +1 from me. I ordered 2 sets of strings, one A string was dead. Replacement arrived next day. Quote
dave_bass5 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Been using them for years, cant fault the service at all. Always my first port of call for strings and accessories. Quote
Roland Rock Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I was always impressed by their competitive pricing and speedy delivery. The only reason that I don't use them anymore is that they don't stock my preferred brand (Status) but I'd have no hesitation recommending them. Quote
uncle psychosis Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 They're excellent. I ordered some strings and plectrums recently and they arrived within 36 hours. Unfortunately they'd sent the wrong plectrums but one email later I had the correct ones on their way to me, and they got to me the next day. Top service. Quote
deepbass5 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Example - just ordered some Roto 555LD from my local music store because I had a £15 gift voucher to spend there. The only reason they cost me £46.99 £10 more than strings direct. So by supporting my local music stored by birthday gift ended up worth £5. oh and I had to wait 3 weeks. Quote
Funky Dunky Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Yup, I used them last month and was delighted with the price and speed of delivery. Quote

Myke Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 They ordered a single Dr Lo-Riders High C from America for me, definitely awesome service! Quote
ead Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I flip between Strings Direct and Stringbusters atm (I'm a bit of a tart I know) depending on who has what I'm after in stock. Both have been excellent so far. Will try our new affiliate for sure if they have stock of my preferred items. Quote
visog Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 After a helpful ID and coating debate here: http://basschat.co.u...t-strings-have/ I ordered my strings 24 hours ago, free delivery and here in my hand are a set D'Addario pro-steels 40-125! Great service - and the ability to use Amazon pay too. Quote
RockfordStone Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Use them all the time. This time however they have screwed my order up. Hopefully I can get it sorted monday Quote
