Sammers Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 It's strange as it's on his Official Twitter, Facebook and Website. Surely someone in the JB PR camp would check before posting? Very sad news indeed if it's true, Tales of Brave Ulysses was one of the tracks that made me want to play. Quote

ebenezer Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 if this is a hoax,i think it's cruel and in very bad taste Quote
Russ Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Supposedly, it happened on Thursday and it's not being reported by any legit news sites yet, so I still think it's a hoax. He probably used the same passwords for Twitter, Facebook and his site's CMS or something. Quote

spongebob Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Very sad news. Amazing bassist who has left an enduring legacy, a huge influence on many of us here no doubt. Quote
Russ Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 He hadn't really been well since his liver transplant. When Cream did their reunion a few years back he sang and played great, but looked dreadful (then again, Ginger Baker looked worse). That press pic that's on the BBC site right now is not flattering. lojo Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Sad, like I'm sure many others my age, some of his baselines where the first I learned. Quote
