billfaro Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Hi all. Forgot to tell you that Deep Purple. Yes that Deep Purple played here in North Cyprus. On the 24th of May this year. But by the time we heard about it all the tickets were sold out. Bugger. Any way read all about it here. And it would seem they flew on a private charter plane direct in to Ercan Airport. We have to fly out and back in to North Cyprus from the UK via Istanbul. Nice one Deep Purple. Maybe they should start their own airline. Shockwave Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 As someone who has been involved with a lovely Turkish Cypriot lady for a while, this is another small step towards north Cyprus being recognised. ^^ Quote
billfaro Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 Hi Mate. Yes it's been going on for 40 years now. Don't if you know this web site. http://www.lgcnews.com/ As you can see they still can't agree. The Greek side walked away from the table last week. I think Turkey will get really fed up soon and sort it out themselves. Cheers. Bill. Quote
