Damonjames
Hi all, Anyone own a spector legend 6 and care to give me some feedback on the playability? I have a euro 4 that I love and considering getting a 6er, but budget won't go so far to get a euro 6. I'd be interested in knowing the thickness of the neck (as In between the thumb and fingers when playing), or even better, anyone in the north west have one they wouldn't mind letting me try out? Any help appreciated!!!
CamdenRob
I had one of these for a good year or so until I recently moved it on. I can't give an accurate neck measurement I'm afraid as I no longer have it but it was relatively thin front to back and very comfortable. The bass was heavy (11.2lb) but then again sixers usually are... It was well balanced and I found it a very easy instrument to play. String spacing was on the tight size at 16.5mm but it felt wider and I didn't have any trouble with it. The preamp was basic but powerful and gave very decent bass response and a nice treble zing on top if that's your thing... Overall I though it was an excellent bass, well worth the secondhand price. Damonjames
Thanks Rob, that's what I wanted to hear!! I have played the RockBass corvette six and while the neck is wide, it's quite flat thickness wise and relatively easy to play. Just need to find one now!!
