I shall give my own, personal, view of the piece, in the hope that at least some will be inspired to give the work a listen, and perhaps a vote as their favourite. All the pieces can be heard here... The bass joins in with a very low-key rocking sway. The background fills out slightly, only to pause to allow an tremelo arpeggio to take over, just enough suspense before the bass picks up again and more arpeggios fill out the space. The footsteps are more subdued, although still present, but become more so when the melodies die away into resolution, leaving only the bass to, in its turn, cease on a sustained note. The footsteps subside.[/size] [size=4]A delicate, short work which establishes with economy a credible soundscape. No hint of menace nor aggression; we're charmed into a sense of peace with the world here. Very short, but has a complete structure such that the resolution contains plenitude. Nicely rounded, nicely constructed, nicely arranged, very nicely played.
