Guest MoJo
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=191388007349&globalID=EBAY-GB&alt=web I had a P bass copy where the pickguard left a gap near the output socket like that. May even be the same one. It certainly wasn't made in Mexico and wasn't a Fender and I don't believe this one is either
mcnach
"barely noticeable" yeah, barely noticeable in the fog at 50 metres!
Thunderbird
Also if you look carefully you can see that the machine heads are slightly on the wonk I dont think it is a real Fender but it could be maybe it just has a really cheap and nasty scratch fitted? mcnach
dunno, neck looks fine to me, and so do the tuning pegs...
yorks5stringer
[sup]Maybe genuine neck, but is the bridge MIM?[/sup]
goblin
If you guys read the description, it says the bridge and pickguard is none original
PlungerModerno
Goblin has spotted it - it's a poorly fitting pickguard and a replacement bridge, and the ad says the original ones can come with the bass. The tuners, decal, contouring and headstock all seem to be period appropriate MIM (about 2003). I could be fooled easy enough though. stevemaiden
Looks genuine to me too - the MiM fenders are basically Squires with a factory fitted fender decal after all!
