Anyone done a two-tone metallic crackle finish?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but hey... I quite fancy a fairly radical copper/brass/gold/verdigris-type two-tone textured crackle finish on a bass, me...

...so the question is, have you - or anyone you know - actually done a two-tone metallic crackle finish on a bass or guitar? And if so, was it cool? Or did it just look like a dog's breakfast with a hat on?

I thank you! :)

Sandberg have done some instruments in "distressed" silver and gold, and then there's this Esh Poseidon in "lava" finish.

Is that the sort of thing you are looking for?

Yes, more Esh than Sandberg in appearance, but more metallic than lava... and more copper/pewter/brass than gold or silver. But yes, that's the kind of ballpark. Thanks for the links. :)
